Lead New Product Planning Forecasting (Pharma)

What you will do

• Develop patient-based forecasts projecting units and revenue for early- and mid-stage pipeline products and external assets.
• Collaborate with commercial brand leadership, new product planning, finance, and business development to assess opportunities and their strategic fit.
• Perform scenario-based analyses for strategic portfolio reviews and planning processes.
• Build analytical tools using market research, landscape analysis, due diligence, and competitive data.
• Contribute to target product profile development, product positioning, market access, and pricing assessments.
• Prepare executive-level presentations with clear, data-driven recommendations and support cross-functional forecasting projects.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree required; an MBA, MS, MD, or PhD is preferred.
• 7+ years of relevant pharmaceutical or biotech commercial assessment and forecasting experience with a BA/BS, or 2–4 years of biopharma or life science consulting experience with an advanced medical or scientific degree.
• Advanced forecasting, analytical, project management, and strategic thinking skills, including scenario-based planning.
• Experience in immunology, rare diseases, oncology, and/or neurology.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry data sources, payer and health insurance environments, and forecast model development in Excel or cloud-based platforms.
• Experience applying AI, machine learning, or data science methodologies to complex quantitative problems.

Nice to have

• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, healthcare provider market research, real-world data analytics, claims data, or EHR analysis.
• Experience with VBA, SQL, R, Python, Snowflake, Databricks, or other cloud-based analytics platforms.
• Experience working in a matrixed environment with cross-functional partners.
