Associate Consultant, Regional Payroll (Fintech)

What you will do

• Manage assigned EMEA payrolls, including daily production activities, complex payroll processing, and year-end activities.
• Review payroll adjustments for compliance with corporate policies, employment tax requirements, and payroll laws, and advise management on corrective action.
• Respond to employee payroll queries and explain the impact of policies, tax law, and related changes.
• Analyse and improve payroll policies and procedures, monitor regulatory changes, and support compliant process modifications.
• Work with vendors on payroll applications, participate in system testing and implementations, and contribute to payroll projects.
• Prepare payroll tax and general ledger activities, reconcile discrepancies with Finance, support accounting transactions, and provide backup coverage for other payroll activities.

Requirements

• Several years of payroll experience; EMEA payroll experience is desirable.
• Experience with payroll processing, including payroll production, reconciliation, and General Ledger activities.
• Attention to detail, ability to work independently, and ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Ability to multitask in a high-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of other HR and Finance areas and their impact on payroll production.
• Applicants must already have the right to work in Ireland; employment permit sponsorship is not available.
