SQL Database Administrator

What you will do

• Maintain SQL database operations, manage incidents and changes, and coordinate stakeholders to ensure database availability.
• Analyze and optimize database performance and advise IT teams on query improvements.
• Contribute to business and technical projects, including architecture definition, version management, obsolescence management, and business-unit support.
• Document security, monitoring, backup, and restoration solutions.
• Support the DevOps approach and monitor database technologies and architectures, including Cloud and Big Data, in line with current standards.
• Propose architecture solutions aligned with infrastructure, operations, and security standards; participate in HPO interventions and the weekly on-call rotation.

Requirements

• Experience maintaining and operating SQL databases.
• Ability to manage incidents, changes, database availability, performance optimization, and query analysis.
• Knowledge of database security, monitoring, backup, and restoration solutions.
• Ability to contribute to database architecture, version and obsolescence management, infrastructure, operations, and security standards.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and database tools and architectures, including Cloud and Big Data.
• English proficiency required.
