Systems Engineer (WARP/Zero Trust)

Location: Hybrid in Lisbon, Portugal. Applicants who reach the offer stage may be asked to attend an in-person interview at a hirify.global office or hub.

Estimated annual salary for Portugal-based hires: €54,000–€75,000.

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance large-scale software solutions for the WARP and Zero Trust products.
• Build backend features for device management, including Device Posture, Orchestration, and Notification.
• Own features end-to-end and contribute to technical direction, roadmap planning, priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Plan capacity and improve scalability, growth, reliability, and high availability, including disaster recovery support.
• Collaborate through code reviews, design discussions, and knowledge sharing with distributed engineering and Zero Trust teams.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience managing highly available systems with disaster recovery support.
• Experience with at least one of Go or Rust, plus experience with TypeScript.
• Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs at scale.
• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Knowledge of distributed NoSQL databases.
• Excellent debugging and optimization skills.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
