Machine Learning Engineer

Location: Hybrid in Malmö, Sweden, with 3 days per week in the office. Commuting is possible for the first 3 months; relocation to Sweden is required afterwards.

Salary: 5,462–7,200 SEK per day on B2B.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models for large-scale geospatial datasets.
• Build scalable data and software solutions across the full ML lifecycle, from experimentation to production deployment.
• Develop ML and NLP solutions for information extraction, anomaly detection, data validation, and quality improvement.
• Work with LLMs, prompt engineering, and agent-based workflows.
• Analyze datasets, generate insights, and apply data science techniques to improve data quality.
• Integrate machine learning models into production systems while collaborating with cross-functional engineering and product teams.

Requirements

• Strong programming skills and extensive hands-on experience with Python.
• Proven machine learning and data science experience, including classification, clustering, feature engineering, anomaly detection, and neural networks.
• Practical experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, and agent-based workflows.
• Solid understanding of classical ML algorithms, including SVM, Random Forest, Naive Bayes, and k-NN.
• Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, Scikit-learn, NumPy, and Pandas.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to balance innovative approaches with practical implementation in existing systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive, ownership-driven mindset and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Scala or Java.
• Knowledge of NLP, Information Retrieval, or Data Mining.
• Experience in statistical modelling and building predictive models.
