Senior AI Data Scientist (Azure/Databricks)

What you will do

• Develop machine learning solutions for early risk detection, proactive decision-making, and measurable business value.
• Translate business challenges and processes into indicators, predictive models, business logic, visualizations, and actionable insights.
• Design and deliver end-to-end data science solutions, including data pipelines, model development, deployment, and evaluation.
• Build proofs of concept for AI and machine learning use cases and support successful solutions through transition to production.
• Contribute to a scalable machine learning platform in Microsoft Azure and Databricks, including cloud infrastructure, data pipelines, and CI/CD.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and data and analytics teams while ensuring data quality, model reliability, scalability, and maintainability.

Requirements

• Academic degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Scientist applying machine learning to real-world business problems.
• Strong programming skills in Python and proficiency in SQL.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure and Databricks.
• Good understanding of databases, data warehouses, and data lakes.
• Experience with independent data exploration, data validation, and visualization.
• Ability to translate business requirements into analytical solutions and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Understanding of the machine learning lifecycle from experimentation and model development through deployment.
• Professional proficiency in both Swedish and English, plus strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
