Account Coordinator (Supply Chain)

Location: Peterborough, UK — office based; onsite five days a week. 37 hours per week, Monday–Friday. Travel may be required globally for up to 10% of the role.

Salary: £31,414 per annum, dependent on experience, plus a bonus of up to 9%.

hirify.global’s Industrial Power Systems Division designs, tests, and manufactures Cat and Perkins engines from 0.5 to 18L for marine, petroleum, industrial, electric generation, and locomotive applications, while developing sustainable energy solutions.

What you will do

• Manage the end-to-end order-to-delivery process, including order entry, validation, monitoring, changes, cancellations, exceptions, and timely delivery.
• Act as the primary contact for assigned customers, providing order updates, resolving inquiries and service issues, and maintaining customer relationships.
• Coordinate shipments, delivery schedules, logistics partners, and transportation activities to support on-time fulfillment.
• Monitor product availability, supply risks, inventory constraints, and shipment risks; communicate impacts and mitigation plans.
• Collaborate with Sales, Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics, Finance, Warehousing, and Customer Service.
• Support S&OP and customer reviews, stakeholder reporting, customer projects, and operational process improvements.

Requirements

• Experience managing an end-to-end order-to-delivery process.
• Knowledge of supply chain operations, including root cause analysis and problem solving.
• Knowledge of order fulfillment management, logistics and transportation coordination, and demand and supply planning fundamentals.
• Basic understanding of effective communication, industry knowledge, relationship management, and account management.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and manage issue resolution and escalation.
• Working knowledge of customer-focused supply chain management.
• Ability to demonstrate relevant qualifications and experience on the CV; shortlisting criteria may be enhanced depending on application volume.

• Knowledge of ERP systems such as QAD, EE, CBS, or SAP.

• Data accuracy and validation skills.
