Site Reliability Engineer

Location: Remote - Greece

What you will do

• Develop, deliver, and operate next-generation communication products with software, systems, and network engineers.
• Analyze, design, and implement continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.
• Design infrastructure-as-code standards and toolkits.
• Support architectural decisions across product implementations.
• Improve observability, monitoring, and operational excellence by identifying improvement areas and recommending design changes.

Requirements

• Proficiency or experience managing Linux-based systems.
• Experience building and deploying containers, including Docker or LXD, and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes or Amazon ECS/EKS.
• Experience scripting with Bash or Python.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible.
• Experience with Git and source version control.
• Experience designing and deploying robust, cloud-native architectures.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as AWS CodeBuild/CodePipeline, Bitbucket Pipelines, or GitHub Actions.

Nice to have

• Experience with the Linux network stack, including routing and firewalls, and software-defined switching or networking such as Open vSwitch.
• Experience designing network architectures with ELB, CloudFront, or Route 53.
• Experience designing data structures and database schemas using YAML, JSON, SQL, or NoSQL.
• Experience with SQL and caching databases such as MySQL or Redis.
• Experience with serverless AWS services such as API Gateway, Lambda, or ECS Fargate.
• Familiarity with Scrum and other Agile processes.
