Senior Associate, Fund Accounting (Private Equity)

What you will do

• Provide fund accounting services to private equity clients, including NAV preparation, accruals, investment valuation, and cash reconciliations.
• Prepare management fee and waterfall calculations in accordance with applicable fund documents.
• Prepare investor allocations for each NAV cycle, including accurate booking of capital transactions and allocation of profit and loss.
• Prepare NAV packages, capital call and distribution calculations, and other deliverables under service level agreements.
• Communicate with internal teams and external clients, resolve queries, and maintain timely delivery.
• Identify opportunities to improve internal processes and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• University degree in Finance or Accounting, qualified accountant status, or another relevant qualification preferred.
• At least 4 years of progressive accounting, audit, or fund administration experience in the private credit or private equity industry preferred.
• Strong accounting knowledge, especially in management and performance fee calculations, FX translation, profit and loss, and balance sheets.
• Good knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, and Singapore GAAP.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office; proficiency with Microsoft Excel is particularly valuable.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, including experience liaising with external parties.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.

• Experience with Investran accounting software.
