Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid, with work from the San Francisco or Seattle offices

Salary: $200K–$330K plus equity

What you will do

• Design, build, and ship software using React, TypeScript, Node.js, and Python.
• Own projects from initial idea through deployment, monitoring, iteration, and customer outcomes.
• Build agent-building products, real-time collaboration, enterprise-scale workflows, automations, and human-agent interaction.
• Develop low-latency voice AI for live-call coaching and voice agents.
• Improve platform and infrastructure performance, reliability, scalability, and agent efficiency and cost.
• Work across the agent lifecycle, including simulations, evaluations, monitoring, feedback loops, and software-factory tooling.

Requirements

• Completing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Experience building software and agents through internships, research, open source, startups, or personal projects.
• Persistence with difficult technical problems and a focus on building products that matter to users.
• Ability to learn new technologies and use them to solve user problems; React, TypeScript, Node.js, and Python experience is helpful but not required.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment where engineers take ownership and make product decisions.
• Ability to collaborate, communicate technical ideas clearly, and work in a truth-seeking, low-ego manner.
• Ability to work from the San Francisco or Seattle offices in the hybrid role.
