Thesis Digital Pallet Model Integration into an Overall Plant Simulation (Python)

Location: Lokeren, Belgium; office-based role. Satellite office in Berchem, Antwerp.

What you will do

• Design and implement a structured framework for integrating physical pallet test data into the existing plant simulation model.
• Develop Python-based ETL routines to extract, normalize, validate, and transform dimensional, mechanical, and identification data.
• Extend the plant model with a pallet simulation module for software regression testing across diverse pallet profiles.
• Establish a maintainable pallet database with traceability, version control, and retrieval capabilities.
• Validate simulation results against historical physical test outcomes and establish a confidence level for production software release testing.

• Motivated thesis student with a hands-on mindset and strong problem-solving skills.
