Forward Deployed Construction Engineer (Germany)

Location: Remote in Germany, with regular time on site at customers; onboarding at the HQ in Stockholm and recurring visits afterward

What you will do

• Own deployments for named German construction accounts from workflow discovery through daily customer use.
• Configure and extend AI agents using customers’ real documents and data.
• Evaluate agent outputs for correctness, completeness, and practical usefulness, turning edge cases and production failures into repeatable evals and expert-reviewed datasets.
• Build integrations, data pipelines, prompts, evaluation harnesses, automated graders, and product features as needed in the field.
• Define and prove measurable outcomes such as hours saved, bids won, and risks identified.
• Feed German construction knowledge, including Leistungsverzeichnisse, GAEB files, tendering, procurement, and reusable building blocks, back into the core product.

Requirements

• Real exposure to construction in Germany through site work, Bauleitung, estimating, AVA, procurement, or quality assurance.
• Experience building and shipping software with Python and/or TypeScript, APIs, data pipelines, and SQL, or the foundations and drive to reach this level quickly.
• Strong analytical ability and serious interest in modern AI systems.
• Experience working directly with customers or a clear appetite for customer-facing work.
• Fluent English is required as the company working language.
• Native or near-native German is required.
• No Swedish is required.
• Willingness to attend site visits, bid rooms, and procurement meetings; work with high attention to detail; investigate system failures; take ownership through production; document clearly; and work comfortably with ambiguity as the only engineer in the room.
