Forward Deployed Engineer (AI, Python, SQL)

Location: Munich, Germany; based in Munich with 3 days per week in the office and regular travel to customers across DACH.

hirify.global develops the Environmental Intelligence System, which connects transactional, bill-of-materials, and unstructured data at item level and applies AI to support emissions analysis, data quality, and reduction recommendations for automotive, defense, and industrial companies.

What you will do

• Support enterprise deals technically from initial data discussions through contract signing.
• Lead implementations end to end by connecting enterprise systems, building data models, and configuring the Environmental Intelligence System.
• Translate technical results into language suitable for C-level executives and present them in German and English.
• Work onsite with customers across DACH when needed to solve implementation challenges.
• Feed customer and field insights back into product and engineering.

Requirements

• Degree in engineering, computer science, physics, or a comparable quantitative field, with a strong academic record.
• Strong Python and SQL skills and experience structuring complex data models.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment such as a scale-up, top consulting firm, or software-company FDE team.
• Ability to explain complex technical work clearly to both engineers and executives and take ownership of outcomes.
• Fluent German and English.
• Based in Munich or ready to move to Munich; available for 3 days per week in the Munich office and regular customer travel across DACH.
