Product UI Designer (AI)

Location: London, UK; in person 4–5 days a week

Salary: £70,000–£85,000 plus 0.01%–0.1% equity

What you will do

• Design and refine interfaces across the platform, focusing on typography, spacing, hierarchy, colour, interaction, and scanability of dense information.
• Design complete user journeys, including loading, empty, error, and validation states.
• Build and evolve the design system from foundational components to reusable patterns.
• Work with product, engineering, designers, and product managers to explore visual directions, explain trade-offs, and refine designs through feedback.
• Stay involved through implementation and release, reviewing accessibility, usability, consistency, and visual quality.

Requirements

• Portfolio of shipped digital products demonstrating strong UI craft, clear information design, attention to detail, and complete flows.
• Modern, restrained visual aesthetic and judgement to simplify complex workflows while preserving required functionality.
• Experience creating or extending reusable components and working within a design system.
• Iterative approach and clear communication with designers, product managers, and engineers.
• Around 1–2 years of experience in UI, UX, or product design is a guide; quality of work and ownership matter most.

Nice to have

• SaaS or design engineering experience.
