Lead Scheduler/Planner (Utilities)

What you will do

• Lead the development, maintenance, governance, and change control of integrated schedules for a major utility infrastructure program.
• Manage baselines, scenario modelling, critical path analysis, schedule reviews, health checks, and performance assessments.
• Identify schedule risks, develop mitigation and recovery strategies, and forecast project outcomes.
• Develop resource-loaded schedules, workforce forecasts, planning metrics, and schedule reporting for project leadership and client stakeholders.
• Partner with multidisciplinary project teams to align sequencing and delivery, provide project controls guidance, and mentor schedulers and planners.
• Contribute to continuous improvement across planning and project controls.

Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline.
• Extensive project planning and scheduling experience in Utilities, Infrastructure, Energy, Defence, or major capital projects.
• Advanced Primavera P6 expertise, including schedule development, resource loading, critical path analysis, and forecasting.
• Experience leading planning activities on complex, multidisciplinary projects.
• Strong understanding of schedule risk management, Earned Value Management, project controls, and performance reporting.
• Ability to interpret complex project data and provide meaningful decision-making insights.
• Well-developed stakeholder engagement skills with project leadership and client representatives.

• Experience with Power BI, reporting dashboards, and data visualisation tools.
