Senior Project Scheduler (Production Planning)

Location: Adelaide, Australia; hybrid work from home/office and a 9-day fortnight will be considered.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain integrated supplementary schedules for production, testing and maintenance activities within the Combat Systems Integration Integrated Project Team.
• Develop and maintain the Performance Measurement Baseline, resource demand data and utilisation data for capacity planning.
• Lead analysis and reporting of critical paths, critical activities, milestones, delivery performance, schedule adherence and resource utilisation.
• Manage and improve schedule health using schedule guidance and support continuous improvement of planning activities.
• Integrate schedules with project controls, tasking statement reporting systems and the team’s task management system.
• Coordinate schedule interfaces and deconfliction with external parties, stakeholders and the Master Schedule.

Requirements

• Three to five years of experience as a Project Scheduler on medium- to high-complexity projects.
• Knowledge and effective understanding of project performance measurement using Earned Management practice.
• Knowledge of project management processes such as PMBOK and detailed understanding of project management methodologies and principles of planning, scheduling and project controls.
• Experience developing reports using the MS Excel 2016 data model capability and Power BI.
• Experience using project management software, preferably Open Plan Professional and MS Project.
• Experience using cost management software, preferably COBRA.
• High-level computer skills, particularly with spreadsheet and database applications.
• Analytical skills related to cost, scheduling performance and reporting, as well as problem-solving skills for identifying system issues.
• Applicants must be Australian citizens and hold or be able to obtain Australian Defence Security Clearance to NV1 level. Past and present nationality and citizenship information may be requested for export-control eligibility, including ITAR.
