Senior Program Manager, Products (Aerospace)

Location: Austin, TX, United States; onsite. Applicants must be U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, conditional residents, asylees, refugees, or eligible to obtain required U.S. Department of State authorizations under U.S. Government Space Technology Export Regulations.

What you will do

• Lead program formation from solution architecture and proposal development through contract award and transition into execution.
• Establish integrated program baselines covering scope, requirements, cost, schedule, staffing, resources, risks, opportunities, and assumptions.
• Translate architectures into development plans, work packages, milestones, deliverables, and integrated schedules with Technical Architects and Engineering.
• Support product strategy by evaluating product reuse, reusable capabilities, and customer-specific development needs.
• Drive proposal content, contract definitization, Make/Buy decisions, supplier planning, and program readiness.
• Maintain alignment across Product, Engineering, Business Development, Finance, Contracts, Supply Chain, and execution teams, including early execution and SRR support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, program management, operations management, supply chain management, or a related field with 12–15 years of related experience; or a master’s degree with 8–12 years; or a PhD with 5–8 years in program management, project management, engineering, manufacturing, operations, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience establishing and managing scope, requirements, cost, schedule, risk, and execution baselines for complex technical programs.
• Proficiency supporting programs from pre-contract or proposal development through contract award and execution.
• Extensive experience collaborating with engineering, finance, contracts, supply chain, and customer-facing organizations to develop and execute integrated program plans.
