Project Scheduler (Construction)

Location: Onsite in Hillsboro, Oregon, United States, with hirify.global's hybrid work model allowing time on-site and off-site.

Annual salary: $99,550–$197,960 USD.

hirify.global Foundry Construction and Sourcing builds and manages large semiconductor manufacturing construction projects, including wafer fabrication factories, fab conversions, process tool installation, infrastructure, and progressive build programs.

What you will do

• Coordinate, analyze, and integrate schedules from contractors, design-build teams, and project stakeholders.
• Develop owner schedules, define program and project critical paths, and assess schedule risks.
• Facilitate planning and schedule review sessions with facility owners, contractors, PMO representatives, and project managers.
• Monitor progress, float trends, lookahead reports, PAS indicators, and schedule changes across Basebuild, Layout Dependent Projects, and Tool Install work.
• Validate contractor schedule logic and approaches, provide what-if analysis, and troubleshoot gaps and schedule issues.
• Establish schedule change control, support negative float resolution, and evaluate schedule risk using earned value methods and S-curves.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a closely related technical field.
• At least 4 years of scheduling experience in a medium- to large-sized construction environment.
• Experience using Primavera or Microsoft Project.
• Ability to communicate with executive management and work hands-on to support decision-making.
• Ability to influence highly matrixed teams, manage multiple stakeholders, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to extract information from construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and proposal documents.
• Strong attention to detail, initiative, inquisitiveness, teamwork, and commitment to a safety culture.

Nice to have

• Experience with semiconductor Basebuild project schedules.
• Experience with facilities construction and equipment installation processes.
• Familiarity with Pull Planning.
• Experience with PowerPoint, advanced Excel, Power BI, SharePoint, and Office 365.
• Experience across design, engineering, procurement, and construction management phases of large projects.
• Technical expertise in critical paths, predecessors and successors, activity definition, activity sequencing, and schedule logic.
