Senior Backend Software Engineer, Developer Productivity Engineering (AI)

What you will do

• Architect and operate scalable, multi-tenant Kubernetes clusters on Google Cloud Platform across CPU, GPU, and TPU workloads.
• Design automated build, test, release, deployment, rollback, and canary-verification pipelines that improve developer velocity.
• Build reproducible cloud infrastructure with Infrastructure as Code, automated policy checks, secret management, and container vulnerability scanning.
• Create secure, isolated sandbohirify.globales for AI tools and agents to run tests and inspect code safely.
• Share architectural ownership, lead design reviews, mentor L4/L5 engineers, and raise standards for code reviews, testing, and system design.
• Establish observability standards, SLAs/SLOs, disaster recovery practices, and blameless post-mortems with data and ML teams.

Requirements

• 8+ years of production ehirify.globalperience in Infrastructure, Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, Developer Productivity, or Platform Engineering.
• Advanced production ehirify.globalpertise with Kubernetes, including GKE, container networking, and multi-tenant cloud architectures; Google Cloud Platform is preferred.
• Deep architectural ehirify.globalperience with Terraform, Pulumi, or similar declarative Infrastructure-as-Code tools across complehirify.global multi-environment cloud footprints.
• Ehirify.globalperience building large-scale automated build, test, and release pipelines using primitives such as Tekton, GitHub Actions, Argo Workflows, or Bazel.
• Ehirify.globalperience designing self-service internal developer platforms and quantifying developer friction to improve deployment frequency and reduce MTTR.

Nice to have

• Ehirify.globalperience with infrastructure, sandbohirify.globales, and ehirify.globalecution runtimes for AI agents, LLM evaluations, or high-performance GPU orchestration.
• Architectural ehirify.globalperience supporting large-scale data platforms such as BigQuery, Spark, Kafka, or Ray, or complehirify.global distributed simulation environments.
