Senior Accountant - Technical Policy & Financial Reporting

Location: Hybrid in Moon Township, Pennsylvania, United States; remote candidates may be considered if they can work Eastern Standard Time hours.

Compensation: $80,000–$100,000 per year.

What you will do

• Prepare GAAP-compliant lender and private equity reporting packages, debt covenant calculations, quarterly and annual reports, and supporting schedules.
• Develop financial analyses, presentation materials, and performance insights for executive leadership and external stakeholders.
• Research complex transactions and prepare technical accounting memoranda covering business combinations, debt and equity arrangements, and other significant transactions.
• Develop and maintain corporate accounting policies and support GAAP compliance and best practices.
• Drive global consolidation, intercompany eliminations, acquisition integration, and monthly close activities for debt, reserves, and stock-based compensation.
• Coordinate with external auditors, support internal controls, and improve reporting through automation, data analytics, emerging technologies, and AI-enabled tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in public accounting, technical accounting, financial reporting, or a combination of public accounting and industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and technical accounting principles, including experience researching complex accounting matters and preparing technical accounting memoranda.
• Experience coordinating audit requests, preparing supporting documentation, and working with external auditors.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to work across all management levels and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated interest in process improvement, automation, and AI-enabled finance tools.

Nice to have

• Active CPA license.
• Public accounting experience.
• Experience with consolidations, acquisition accounting, or integration of acquired entities.
