Physical Security Engineer (Remote)

Location: Remote within the United States; position associated with Dallas, TX

What you will do

• Administer, configure, upgrade, monitor, and troubleshoot enterprise physical security platforms, including Lenel, CCure, Exacq, and BioConnect.
• Deploy and maintain access control, CCTV, alarm, camera, controller, and related security infrastructure.
• Perform system health checks, preventative maintenance, equipment testing, site inspections, documentation, and compliance verification.
• Support physical security design and implementation for new facility builds and retrofit projects, coordinating with data center operations, project managers, customers, vendors, contractors, IT, and Networking.
• Manage credentials, inventories, tickets, asset records, incident response, alarm review, and scheduled on-call support.
• Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and SOPs; train junior engineers and administrators; and support audits and remediation activities.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in physical security, system administration, or IT infrastructure support.
• Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining access control and CCTV systems.
• Working knowledge of enterprise access control and surveillance platforms, including Lenel, CCure, Exacq, BioConnect, and similar systems.
• Understanding of physical security principles, structured cabling, IP networking, system power requirements, and security standards for critical infrastructure.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and as-built documentation.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, organizational, documentation, communication, and follow-through skills.
• Experience coordinating contractors, service providers, and vendor relationships.
• Familiarity with project budgeting, lifecycle management, and change control.
• U.S. citizenship and successful completion of a background/security investigation required.

• Manufacturer-specific certifications, CompTIA Security+, or PSP.
