Sr Agile Team Lead (SAFe)

What you will do

• Serve as a SAFe Scrum Master and servant leader for one or more Agile teams.
• Facilitate Iteration Planning, Daily Standups, Backlog Refinement, Reviews, Retrospectives, PI Planning, System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt events.
• Guide teams through SDLC activities spanning planning, development, testing, integration, validation, and release readiness.
• Remove impediments, escalate organizational blockers, and coordinate cross-team dependencies within the Agile Release Train.
• Support Product Owners with backlog health, prioritization, and predictable execution.
• Coach teams and stakeholders on SAFe, Agile, Lean, continuous improvement, built-in quality, engineering excellence, DevOps, and CI/CD practices.

Requirements

• 6+ years of total experience, including 3+ years in software development, technical lead, or engineering roles and 3+ years as a Scrum Master, Agile Team Lead, or SAFe Scrum Master.
• Strong understanding of the SDLC, including requirements, design, development, testing, integration, and release management.
• Practical experience implementing SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, and Agile delivery methodologies.
• Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and leading distributed, cross-functional teams.
• Hands-on experience with Agile lifecycle tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, Agile quality practices, and delivery flow management.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to influence teams and build alignment without direct authority.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

Nice to have

• SAFe certifications such as Certified SAFe Scrum Master, Advanced Scrum Master, or RTE.
• Experience in Oil & Gas, Refining, Petrochemical, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain software solutions.
• Experience supporting multiple Agile teams in a large-scale Agile Release Train environment.
• Additional software development experience.
