2027 Summer Intern EGDS (AI/ML)

Location: Morristown, NJ, with Cambridge, MA listed as another location; must be able to relocate to the office location and work onsite 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, for the full 8–12-week internship.

Salary: $60 USD per hour.

What you will do

• Support the design, conduct, and analysis of early- and late-phase clinical trials.
• Conduct methodological research under the mentorship of experienced biostatisticians.
• Perform literature reviews and develop computational tools.
• Implement AI/ML modeling and simulation approaches for clinical trials.

Requirements

• Have completed at least two years of graduate coursework and be pursuing a PhD dissertation in statistics or biostatistics.
• Be permanently authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring employment visa sponsorship at application or in the future.
• Students on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT generally do not qualify unless eligible for an alternative long-term status without company sponsorship.
• Remain enrolled at an accredited college or university throughout the internship.
• Be able to relocate to the office location and work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, for the full internship duration.

Nice to have

• Strong academic background in statistics, biostatistics, or data science.
• Experience with data analysis, data visualization, machine learning, and modern AI tools.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
