TL;DR
2027 Summer Intern, PhD, Quantitative Software Engineer (Autonomous Driving/AI): Conducting exploratory research, statistical evaluation, presentations, and Python software engineering for fully autonomous driving technology with an accent on statistical analysis, machine learning, and robotics. Focus on evaluating new theories, implementing software designs, and communicating technical findings to focus groups.
Location: Hybrid onsite internship in Mountain View, California or San Francisco, California
Salary: $85 USD per hour for the full-time position

What you will do
- Conduct exploratory research and statistically evaluate new theories.
- Present research findings to small focus groups.
- Design and implement software solutions.
- Collaborate on software for perception, decision-making, deep learning, and autonomous driving.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a PhD program in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Fluent Python programming skills.
- Knowledge of statistical concepts.
- Basic knowledge of machine learning.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Nice to have
- Software engineering experience in Python.
