Tech Product Manager (Mandarin Speaking)

Location: Irvine, CA, US; 100% onsite. Travel approximately 40%–50% nationwide; willingness and ability to travel 25% or more is required.

Salary: $120,000–$140,000; compensation may be $100,000–$140,000 DOE.

What you will do

• Define and execute product vision, strategy, roadmaps, product requirements, feature priorities, and system-level architecture.
• Gather customer needs and translate technical and business requirements into engineering specifications and deliverables.
• Represent the customer throughout the product lifecycle and lead customer-facing technical discussions, presentations, meetings, and events.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, software, AI, sales, marketing, executive, and Taiwan-based engineering teams.
• Coordinate product launches, releases, and complex cross-functional projects across multiple locations and time zones.
• Conduct competitive analysis, market research, and technology trend assessments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Marketing, Product Strategy, or Technical Program/Product Leadership within a semiconductor or technology-focused organization.
• Strong experience working directly with customers to gather requirements and define products.
• Ability to translate technical and business requirements into engineering deliverables and explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience engaging engineering teams and executive-level stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams across multiple locations and time zones.
• Strong customer-facing mindset and ability to build trusted relationships.
• Willingness and ability to travel 25% or more as required.

Nice to have

• Experience with semiconductor technologies, sensors and imaging solutions, computer vision, artificial intelligence/machine learning, or embedded systems.
• Experience in both engineering and customer-facing commercial roles such as Product Management, Technical Marketing, Sales Engineering, or Business Development.
• Experience working with global engineering teams.
• Knowledge of project planning and product lifecycle management tools.
• Mandarin language proficiency.
