Focus on designing analysis workflows, identifying anomalies, correlating measured results with models and simulations, and producing rigorous technical reports and executive-ready outbriefs.

Location: Hybrid work near Denver, CO or Long Beach, CA; some work must be performed on site. Travel to test sites is estimated at 10%.

Base salary: $155,000–$220,000 annually, plus equity and benefits.

Company

hirify.global develops autonomous spacecraft, advanced payloads, mission software, and space-based interceptors for space superiority and security.

What you will do

  • Support data analysis across subsystem, system, ground, and flight-test programs from pre-test planning through post-test assessment.
  • Define data products, processing workflows, analysis methods, and visualizations with engineering, test, instrumentation, telemetry, ground systems, and modeling teams.
  • Process, synchronize, validate, reduce, and analyze time-series, telemetry, instrumentation, and performance data.
  • Assess data quality and compare measured results with requirements, predictions, simulations, reference cases, and expected system performance.
  • Identify anomalies and discrepancies, support investigations, and synthesize subsystem data into system-level conclusions.
  • Create test reports and executive-ready outbriefs while maintaining documentation, data dictionaries, scripts, traceability, deliverables, risks, and data limitations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in aerospace, mechanical, electrical, or computer engineering, applied mathematics, physics, data science, or a related technical field, plus 7+ years of relevant engineering industry experience.
  • Experience processing and analyzing engineering, ground, flight, or integrated-system data, including time-series, telemetry, instrumentation, or data-acquisition datasets.
  • MATLAB and Simulink experience for data processing, analysis, visualization, modeling, and simulation, including integration with or analysis of C/C++-based system models.
  • Understanding of filtering, conditioning, synchronization, calibration, reduction, validation, visualization, and data-quality assessment.
  • Ability to synthesize data across subsystems and compare measurements with requirements, models, simulations, predictions, or expected system performance.
  • Strong technical writing, presentation, and communication skills for technical reports, briefings, and outbriefs to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to coordinate across engineering, test, operations, modeling and simulation, program management, and external stakeholder teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple efforts, priorities, dependencies, and deliverables in a high-tempo matrixed environment while maintaining data integrity, analytical rigor, and traceability.
  • Experience with Atlassian tools, including Jira and Confluence.
  • U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain and hold a U.S. security clearance are required.

Nice to have

  • Advanced degree in engineering, applied mathematics, physics, data science, or a related discipline.
  • Active U.S. security clearance, including S, TS, or TS/SCI.
  • Experience with spacecraft, missile systems, launch vehicles, high-performance flight systems, or other safety-critical platforms.
  • Experience with subsystem and integrated system testing, flight test, ground test, hardware-in-the-loop, software-in-the-loop, or mission simulation.
  • Experience developing automated data-processing pipelines, reusable analysis tools, or standardized technical data products.
  • Experience with MATLAB toolboxes, Simulink validation and correlation, Python, SQL, telemetry systems, instrumentation, sensors, timing systems, or flight-test data products.
  • Familiarity with requirements verification, acceptance criteria, anomaly resolution, root-cause analysis, fault isolation, configuration management, test ranges, mission operations, or ground systems.
  • Experience presenting technical results to customers, government stakeholders, executive leadership, or external partners.

Culture & Benefits

  • Hybrid work environment with in-office collaboration and required site presence.
  • Company-paid medical, dental, and vision coverage with HSA/HRA options.
  • Flexible Time Off for exempt employees or accrued PTO of up to 25 days for non-exempt employees, plus paid holidays, parental leave, and sick leave.
  • 401(k), fitness reimbursement, catered lunches and snacks for in-office employees, and equity participation.
