Company

hirify.global develops and deploys innovative products addressing complex challenges and supporting intelligence-community and national-security missions.

What you will do

  • Design, implement, and optimize DSP algorithms for real-world wireless systems.
  • Detect, identify, classify, and decode captured waveforms.
  • Develop and evaluate receiver, transmitter, and modem architectures for RF systems.
  • Implement RF reception and transmission using modulation schemes including FSK, PSK, QAM, and OFDM.
  • Prototype and evaluate solutions in laboratory environments using SDR hardware and RF test equipment.
  • Build maintainable, reusable SDR software patterns, tools, infrastructure, and building blocks in a centralized repository.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
  • Expertise in software-defined radio, including receiver architectures, channelization, modulation and demodulation, error-correcting codes, and spectral analysis.
  • Experience designing and implementing receiver, transmitter, and modem signal chains for cellular, radio, or RF communication systems.
  • Knowledge of PHY and MAC layer concepts, including waveform processing, synchronization, channel estimation, framing, and link-level behavior.
  • Familiarity with open-source signal-processing libraries and frameworks, plus common SDRs such as Ettus USRP, BladeRF, and PlutoSDR.
  • At least 3 years of experience with one or more modern development languages: C, C++, Embedded C, or Python.
  • Experience with collaborative Git workflows, including branching strategies, pull requests, and code reviews.
  • Active Top Secret clearance is required, with the ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI clearance.

Nice to have

  • Ability to architect and implement end-to-end wireless communication systems with real-world performance requirements.
  • Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Proficiency with GNU Radio, Radio Hacker, GQRX, Vivado, or ModelSim.
  • Hands-on experience with DSP providers or components from Texas Instruments, Analog Devices, or STMicroelectronics.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance.

Culture & Benefits

  • Hands-on laboratory work within a multidisciplinary team of RF engineers, embedded developers, and security researchers.
  • Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance.
  • Retirement benefits and paid leave.
  • Tuition assistance and professional development opportunities.
  • Equal employment opportunity practices and reasonable workplace accommodations are provided.
