Radio Frequency Software Engineer 2 (C++/Linux/Python/DSP)

Location: Annapolis Junction, Maryland, United States. Candidates must be U.S. citizens and currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph.

Annual salary: $130,000–$270,000, depending on years of experience.

What you will do

• Design and implement DSP algorithms in software for high-throughput exploitation of signals.
• Develop solutions involving low signal-to-noise ratio, higher-order, and/or adaptive modulations.
• Modify existing software and/or firmware to adapt COTS and GOTS products to special Government needs.
• Explain developed models concisely so other engineers can understand and use them for processing signals of interest.
• Assist with daily software engineering responsibilities.

Requirements

• Current Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph; U.S. citizenship is required.
• Seven years of experience as a DSP Algorithm developer on projects using similar software processes.
• Seven years of experience with C++, Linux, Python, or a similar development language.
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline in DSP algorithms from an accredited college or university is required.
• Two years of experience may substitute for a Master of Science in Engineering or Computer Science.
• Four years of additional DSP experience may substitute for a Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience with C++, Linux, Python, and DSP algorithms.
