Manager, Financial Control

hirify.global operates a medical technology business with a Mexico finance organization supporting local and regional operations.

What you will do

• Lead the Mexico finance function and serve on the Mexico Leadership Team.
• Manage, mentor, and develop the local finance team, including recruitment, objectives, and performance appraisal.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning, financial analysis, investment evaluation, and business partnering.
• Oversee financial reporting, monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, cash flow, liquidity, working capital, accounts receivable, credit risk, and accounts payable.
• Manage tax compliance, statutory filings, audit and tax authority relationships, payroll oversight, and regulatory obligations.
• Maintain internal controls, risk management practices, corporate policy compliance, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of financial accounting, U.S. GAAP, Mexican GAAP, financial reporting standards, and corporate governance.
• In-depth knowledge of compliance, internal controls, risk management, audit processes, and Mexican direct and indirect tax regulations.
• Advanced FP&A skills covering budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, business cases, and ROI evaluation.
• Experience with audit coordination, financial reporting, information management, accounts payable, general accounting, payroll oversight, treasury, cash flow, working capital, accounts receivable, and credit risk management.
• Experience leading month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes in a multinational environment.
• Leadership, people management, coaching, team development, business partnering, and senior stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, presentation, project management, and continuous improvement skills.
• High integrity, professionalism, accountability, and attention to detail.
• Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency and experience with financial reporting systems or ERP platforms; Oracle is preferred.
• Knowledge of data analytics, automation, and Artificial Intelligence tools for financial reporting, forecasting, decision-making, and process efficiency.
• Fluent English and Spanish with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
