GBS RTR Regional Manager, Americas (Finance)

Location: Monterrey, Mexico; hybrid eligible with a requirement to work in the office at least three days per week. Hybrid days may be adjusted based on business needs.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end Record-to-Report operations across the Americas for multiple business units and legal entities.
• Ensure accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Lead, coach, and develop the RTR organization while supporting performance management, succession planning, engagement, and retention.
• Partner with Finance leadership, Business Unit Controllers, and other stakeholders; lead governance meetings and communicate performance, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Drive standardization, harmonization, simplification, automation, and digital transformation of RTR processes.
• Maintain control and compliance frameworks, support audits, resolve issues, and manage remediation plans for control deficiencies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience and 5+ years of people leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of Record-to-Report processes, including General Ledger, journal entries, fixed assets, intercompany accounting, balance sheet reconciliations, financial reporting, and close management.
• Experience supporting multinational organizations and multiple legal entities.
• Advanced English communication skills.
• Experience managing regional or global finance teams.
• Experience leading transitions and transformation projects.
• Experience working in a matrixed, global organization.

Nice to have

• CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional certification.
• Knowledge of Oracle, HFM, or other major ERP platforms and consolidation tools.
• Experience in a Shared Services or GBS environment.
• Continuous Improvement, Lean, or Six Sigma certification.
