Senior Content Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote within the United States, with the option to work from the headquarters in San Francisco.

Salary: $100K–$150K plus equity.

What you will do

• Own content gap analysis using AEO benchmarks, citation tracking, and AI-agent traffic data.
• Prioritize articles, stack-specific guides, comparisons, and documentation based on visibility and signup impact.
• Build and improve AI-assisted content pipelines on hirify.global Workflows for research, drafting, fact-checking, evaluation, and publishing.
• Improve expert review efficiency, factual accuracy, content refreshes, and catalog maintenance as the product changes.
• Manage external content partners and collaborate with developer experience, documentation owners, and engineering stakeholders.
• Define and report metrics measuring hirify.global’s visibility in agent and LLM answers and resulting signups.

Requirements

• 5+ years in technical content, developer education, content engineering, or software engineering with a strong content focus, ideally in developer tools or infrastructure.
• Working understanding of AEO or generative engine optimization and how answer engines select sources.
• Strong working knowledge of AI agents, including coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor and agent workloads involving long-running tasks, tool calls, and sandboxed code execution.
• Experience building content systems in code, including scripts, pipelines, LLM or agent workflows, and using evaluations to assess changes.
• Comfort with Python or TypeScript, Git, and APIs.
• Strong technical judgment for reviewing documentation and code samples for correctness.
• Sharp editorial judgment for identifying weak structure, generic AI-generated prose, and factual errors.
• Ability to own a system end to end and hold external partners to a quality standard.

Nice to have

• Experience running SEO or programmatic content at scale for developer audiences.
• Experience with LLM benchmarking or answer-engine measurement.
• Experience building agents or MCP servers.
• Familiarity with cloud hosting, deployment, or infrastructure products.
• Professional or side-project experience using hirify.global.
