What you will do

• Own the AI roadmap and prioritize use cases with business leaders based on value, feasibility, and risk.
• Lead and develop AI engineers and analysts while establishing delivery, quality, and engineering standards.
• Guide AI assistants, agentic workflows, and decision-support solutions from discovery and pilots through deployment and continuous improvement.
• Partner with data engineering, analytics, technology, and risk teams to ensure trusted data, appropriate controls, and human accountability.
• Drive adoption and measure business impact, user experience, productivity, reliability, and cost.

Requirements

• Leadership experience with AI, software engineering, or data science teams and cross-functional delivery.
• Experience taking AI solutions beyond proof of concept into supported production environments.
• Strong stakeholder management, executive communication, coaching, and change-management skills.
• Strong hands-on Python development for AI applications, data processing, APIs, and automation, including production-quality code review.
• Experience building tool-enabled agents and orchestrated workflows with state management, enterprise integrations, and human-in-the-loop controls.
• Working knowledge of LLMs, prompt design, retrieval-augmented generation, embeddings, and vector search.
• Experience with SQL, REST APIs, Git, automated testing, CI/CD, monitoring, and evaluation of AI quality, safety, reliability, latency, and cost.
• Practical understanding of data privacy, access controls, auditability, model limitations, and risk-appropriate safeguards.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud AI platforms and agent orchestration frameworks.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, and AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Cursor.
