Project Engineer - Aerospace Manufacturing Construction Projects

Location: Hybrid in Mojave, California, United States; onsite Monday through Thursday and remote on Fridays when not traveling. Travel to multiple U.S. manufacturing sites and potentially overseas may reach 25%.

Salary: $140,000–$165,000 base salary annually, with a potential annual bonus of up to 10% of base salary.

What you will do

• Lead industrial construction projects from inception through completion, including construction and equipment installation.
• Develop project plans and schedules aligned with client expectations and company goals.
• Manage budgeting, estimating, purchasing, project controls, and multiple-million-dollar projects.
• Coordinate vendors, subcontractors, suppliers, workflow reviews, and material and service delivery.
• Maintain project management SOPs and ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
• Manage client relationships, updates, change orders, document control, submittals, shop drawings, and closeout documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Construction, or Manufacturing Engineering is required.
• At least 5 years of project management experience in chemical, aerospace, industrial, or commercial construction.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% to multiple manufacturing sites within the U.S. and potentially overseas.
• In-depth understanding of budgeting, estimating, and project control methodologies.
• Familiarity with design-build processes, commercial and industrial construction standards, or Front End Engineering Design stages FEL 0–3.
• Proficiency with project management software and ability to interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Ability to communicate with various levels of management.
