Legal Counsel (SaaS)

Location: On-site in Barcelona, Spain; candidates must be based in Barcelona or open to relocating.

hirify.global provides an all-in-one SaaS platform for independent hoteliers in France, Spain, Italy, and Portugal.

What you will do

• Lead legal reviews for SaaS terms, MSAs, DPAs, order forms, vendor agreements, and renewals, with AI supporting first-pass review.
• Manage disputes and claims end to end, including strategy, evidence, negotiation, settlement, and external advocates where required.
• Own GDPR and data protection matters, including questions from hotel customers.
• Build the legal function through contract and obligation registers, ticketing workflows, playbooks, and customer terms.
• Set the scope and budget for external firms and provide initial guidance on employment and payments matters.

Requirements

• Qualified to practise law in Spain, with 5–7 years of post-qualification experience built on a law firm foundation.
• End-to-end drafting and negotiation experience with B2B technology contracts.
• Experience independently handling commercial disputes or pre-litigation claims, including settlement and litigation strategy.
• Strong working knowledge of GDPR, including DPAs, records of processing, data subject requests, and breach handling.
• Full professional Spanish and English.

• In-house experience at a technology or SaaS company.
• French or Italian.
• Experience as the only or first lawyer in a company.
• Spanish corporate housekeeping experience.
• Daily use of AI tools in legal work.
