Senior D365 Business Central Consultant

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end Dynamics 365 Business Central/NAV implementation projects, including discovery, requirements gathering, process mapping, solution design, testing, data migration, and go-live support.
• Run pre-sales discovery sessions and product demonstrations, analyse client processes, and design effective solutions.
• Develop solution architectures, functional specifications, project documentation, and risk mitigation plans.
• Manage customer expectations, stakeholder relationships, delivery quality, compliance, and post-implementation support.
• Train users, identify system improvements, and pursue process innovation opportunities.
• Lead, delegate to, guide, and mentor junior consultants and project team members.

Requirements

• Lead Consultant experience with strong finance and business process skills gained in a customer-facing role.
• Strong experience leading the complete project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, process mapping, solution design and architecture, user training, SIT and UAT testing, data migration, and go-live support.
• Proven functional expertise in Dynamics 365 Business Central and/or NAV.
• Implementation experience with GL, FA, AP/P2P, AR/O2C, workflows, inventory management, project management/jobs, roles and permissions, and configuration packages.
• Experience supporting existing implementations and identifying customer improvement opportunities.
• Confident communication and presentation skills, including customer and stakeholder relationship management.
• Comfort leading workshops and working in customer-facing roles.
• Ability to delegate effectively while remaining accountable for delivery, mentor colleagues, collaborate openly, and maintain strong organisation and documentation.

Nice to have

• Experience with Jet Reports, Continia Document Capture, Continia Expense Management, and Power Platform, including some Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate knowledge.
• Pre-sales engagement experience involving high-level discovery and demonstrations.
• Experience with multi-company and multi-currency organisations, supply chain and distribution, manufacturing, contracting and professional services, or public sector organisations.
