Technical Program Manager (AI)

Location: Colombia — Remote

Base pay: $3,000–$4,000 per month

What you will do

• Own intake for incoming client projects, facilitate scoping, define deliverable phases, and create realistic delivery plans.
• Forecast capacity across 25+ concurrent engagements, balance engineer load and dependencies, track delivery signals, and escalate risks.
• Build and maintain automations for intake routing, status reporting, capacity snapshots, delivery-health dashboards, metrics, and alerting.
• Design and ship agent workflows and MCP-based integrations connecting ClickUp, Slack, and GitHub.
• Manage external contractors, establish integration and delivery standards, and remove technical blockers with engineering and product.
• Run scope, timeline, and expectation discussions with clients and internal stakeholders while maintaining structured project documentation.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in software engineering, platform and integrations work, or technical program management, with ownership of complex multi-stakeholder projects from scope through delivery.
• Hands-on expertise with Python and TypeScript stacks, including Node and modern backend frameworks, sufficient to read unfamiliar code, wire integrations, and make architecture decisions.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs into reliable event-driven pipelines using webhooks, REST, and queue-based systems.
• Fluency with LLM integration, MCP servers, and agent workflows, or the demonstrated ability to learn them quickly.
• Strong capacity-planning and program-management skills across many concurrent projects.
• Production observability and triage experience with Datadog, CloudWatch, Sentry, or similar tools.
• Proficiency with ClickUp or comparable project-management tooling, structured workflows, clear documentation, and coordinated execution across multiple engagements.
• Excellent stakeholder and consultative communication skills, including scope and timeline discussions with clients and technical teams and contractor accountability.
• Builder's bias toward automating recurring manual work; comfortable working remotely with a distributed team spanning the US and Colombia and communicating strongly in written English.
