What you will do

• Ensure technical consistency, portability, and architectural standards for AI solutions.
• Establish scalable, reliable, secure, and trusted data and technology foundations with data, IT, and business stakeholders.
• Advise on AI solution design, target architectures, build-or-buy decisions, models, vector stores, and orchestration frameworks.
• Embed security, data privacy, GDPR, and EU AI Act requirements into reference architectures.
• Draft technical specifications, track development, oversee acceptance testing, and coordinate AI system integration and scaling.
• Define production monitoring, cost control, reliability, model updates, dependency management, governance forums, and technical risk mitigation.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional experience in software engineering, data or ML engineering, cloud engineering, or IT architecture, including hands-on design of cloud-based production systems.
• Experience building or contributing to an LLM-based solution involving RAG, agents, or orchestration frameworks, with understanding of model serving, data pipelines, and vector databases.
• Daily use of AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor.
• Experience contributing to architectural standards and reference architectures, and reviewing or challenging technical decisions made by engineers or vendors.
• Experience with at least one major cloud provider: Azure, AWS, or GCP, including CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and containerization.
• Solid software development skills, confidence reading and reviewing code, preferably Python, and the ability to explain technical constraints and risks to business and project stakeholders.
• Fluent English is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure and Databricks.
• DevOps or platform engineering experience, including Terraform or Bicep, Kubernetes, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
• Experience with data architecture, including data warehousing, data lakes, lakehouses, governance, or related frameworks.
• Experience with LLMOps practices such as evaluation, guardrails, prompt and model versioning, and monitoring of LLM applications.
• Knowledge of security principles and AI governance frameworks, including GDPR and the EU AI Act.
• Experience in international, consulting, or scale-up environments.
