Customer Technology Advisor - Security

What you will do

• Serve as the cybersecurity subject matter expert and provide technical guidance and solution leadership across security domains.
• Partner with customer, consulting, account, delivery, and alliance teams to identify opportunities and shape security strategies.
• Lead customer-facing discussions, workshops, presentations, and demonstrations.
• Translate business and technical requirements into scalable security architectures and roadmaps.
• Develop proposals, proof of concepts, and solution recommendations for customer challenges.
• Support the full pre-sales lifecycle, including technical quality, governance, compliance, and alignment with best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8–10 years of relevant experience in Security Technical Services Solutions.
• Deep knowledge of Security Services offerings and technical solutions within a practice.
• Experience in cybersecurity and cyber resiliency, with a strong background in core enterprise security.
• Experience with computer network security systems, firewall software, and cloud technologies, especially zCloud.
• Experience in vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, and security policies and procedures.
• Experience in third-party risk, data security, and core enterprise security.

Nice to have

• Experience translating technical knowledge into actionable customer insights and solutions.
• Consultative selling experience.
• External recognition as an expert in technology or solutioning, with relevant technical certifications in areas such as Application Data and AI, Cloud, Core Enterprise and zCloud, Digital Workplace, Network and Edge, or Security and Resiliency.
