Senior Cybersecurity Operations and Compliance Specialist (Vulnerability Management/Security Controls): Maintaining and enhancing cybersecurity and operational security across the Asia-Pacific region with an accent on vulnerability management, IT controls compliance, risk assessment, and security reporting. Focus on coordinating remediation, supporting disaster recovery testing, managing third-party security requirements, and delivering metrics to regional leadership and the CISO team.
Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; hybrid, with at least three days per week in the office

What you will do
- Monitor and coordinate vulnerability management activities, including DAST, SAST, penetration testing, infrastructure scans, SSL certificates, and protocols.
- Track remediation activities and support delivery against security and compliance SLAs.
- Manage IT operational controls, including access reviews, service accounts, MFA rollout, password policy compliance, and risk management.
- Support disaster recovery planning, annual plan reviews, and database restore testing.
- Coordinate security requirements, third-party risk assessments, and incident response audit findings with vendors and business stakeholders.
- Prepare weekly security metrics and monthly operating reports for regional leadership and the CISO team.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience in IT compliance, controls, cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Experience with cybersecurity concepts, vulnerability scanning tools such as Snyk, GitGuardian, Edgescan, and BitSight, and security platforms including SIEM, IAM, MFA, and DARE.
- Strong project management, administrative, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work across time zones and collaborate with regional and global security teams.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to SLAs and compliance requirements.
- Ability to work from the Kuala Lumpur office at least three days per week.
