Senior Verification Engineer (Medical Robotics)

Location: Caesarea, Israel; full-time onsite

What you will do

• Create verification protocols based on electromechanical design input requirements.
• Identify applicable standards for electromechanical components and define their verification approach.
• Establish statistical sample sizes according to the risk level of parts, assemblies, and features.
• Lead protocol development and test execution for sterilization validation.
• Guide verification engineers and testers in protocol creation, test execution, result review, and report generation.
• Participate in developing electromechanical assemblies and related robotic capabilities.

Requirements

• BSc degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Biomedical Engineering.
• 4+ years of experience in design verification of electrical, mechanical, and multidisciplinary medical device systems.
• Experience with full product life-cycle test activities and processes.
• Proven experience with test methods and verification activities, including jig validation, sample sizing, and preliminary testing.
• Experience with medical device standards and regulations, including ISO 13485 and IEC 60601.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to quickly learn new technologies and systems.

Nice to have

• Experience with optical systems such as imaging, illumination, lenses, or cameras in medical devices.
• Experience with sterilization processes and validation.
