What you will do

• Manage silicon wafer diode production processes across cost, quality, qualification, and control, including photolithography, etching, diffusion furnaces, PVD, PECVD, ion implantation, grinding, and evaporation.
• Complete a six-month rotation across FAB processes before taking ongoing responsibility for a priority area.
• Lead FAB process, methods, automation, and diode-platform innovation projects.
• Manage large datasets, statistical analyses, and DOE modelling using JMP.
• Evaluate process opportunities, silicon suppliers, specifications, and initiatives for yield, production, and cost optimization.
• Lead root-cause investigations, 8D problem-solving, technical discussions with Quality and R&D, and supplier-audit support.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering or in Mathematical, Physical, or Natural Sciences.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in technical engineering and project environments.
• Strong analytical and/or statistical mindset.
• Knowledge of DMAIC methodology and project management.
• Basic knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes.
• Flexibility, sense of urgency, results orientation, and commitment to meeting deadlines.
• Good knowledge of English required.
• Ability to effectively manage issues and requests from senior management.
• Willingness to travel for supplier audits and visits to other FAB sites.
