Contract Manufacturing Manager (Advanced Electronics)

Location: Wilmington, Delaware, United States; hybrid. The position is based in the United States and requires approximately 30%–40% travel, including periodic supplier-site visits.

What you will do

• Oversee third-party contract manufacturers and provide engineering, technical, and process-safety support.
• Lead supplier performance management and continuous improvement across EHS, product quality, service, production, delivery, reliability, yield, compliance, and cost.
• Coordinate responses to critical supplier issues, incidents, investigations, audits, and corrective actions.
• Manage supplier documentation, agreements, Operations Plans, Technology Packages, spend reporting in SAP, and Management of Change activities.
• Coordinate cross-functional support with manufacturing technology, supply chain, quality, EHS, R&D, operations, procurement, and customer stakeholders.
• Project-manage product-line additions and transition new activities at existing or new suppliers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in science, engineering, or an equivalent technical discipline.
• Five or more years of manufacturing operations and/or supply chain experience.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Ability to build and sustain internal and external relationships and drive results through accountability, teamwork, partnership, and collaboration.
• Effective written and verbal communication, professional judgment, adaptability, prioritization, networking, and independent-work skills.
• Ability to manage multiple objectives and take on additional responsibilities as business needs evolve.

Nice to have

• Strong manufacturing background and technical knowledge of electronics and industrial product manufacturing.
• Experience with semiconductor or comparable change-control protocols and quality systems.
• Familiarity with new product introduction, Management of Change, and root-cause investigation.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification.
• CPIM Part 1 certification.
