Lead Global Supply Management – Commodity Manager Materials (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: USA - New York - Malta; international travel, including the USA and Germany, is required from time to time.

Expected salary: $88,000–$154,000 per year, depending on qualifications, experience, and location.

What you will do

• Define sourcing strategies for assigned materials and consumables in alignment with global supply management objectives.
• Lead commercial negotiations, contract management, supplier performance management, and sourcing analytics using tools including Jaggaer, Spend Analytics, Power BI, Cleansheeting, and Negotiation Planners.
• Serve as the primary procurement contact for manufacturing operations and new product development stakeholders.
• Address site-specific supply issues with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and other internal stakeholders.
• Identify market trends, alternative sourcing strategies, new suppliers, product derivatives, and continuous improvement opportunities.
• Build business continuity plans by mapping supply-base and geographic risks and defining mitigation actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Business Administration, or a relevant field.
• At least 10 years of relevant work experience in an industrial environment.
• Ability and willingness to travel internationally, including to the USA and Germany, from time to time.
• Activities must be performed safely and in support of Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Business, Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of process materials used in electronics manufacturing, quality requirements, and the related supply base.
• Proficiency in sourcing strategy development and execution, contract management, and supplier performance management.
• Experience leading projects and cross-functional teams.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and influence stakeholders and team members.
• Experience in a semiconductor environment or related industry.
