What you will do

• Lead safe working practices within the Subsea Test Centre, including risk assessments, work instructions, pre-use inspections, and incident reporting.
• Develop, review, and approve test methods, plans, setups, and reports against customer, technical, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Investigate abnormal test results and non-conformances, support root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Specify, procure, commission, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot test equipment and infrastructure.
• Maintain equipment performance through preventive maintenance and control-system or software upgrades.
• Evaluate customer test enquiries and drive improvements in safety, quality, efficiency, test accuracy, energy use, and operational performance.

Requirements

• HND or equivalent relevant engineering, technical, testing, or industrial qualification; equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
• Significant experience in a senior engineering, technical, or testing role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Practical experience with mechanical or pressure-test equipment, including test methods, calibration, maintenance, and fault finding.
• Experience developing test solutions, specifying equipment, interpreting test data, and conducting technical investigations.
• Strong understanding of safety management, risk assessment, safe systems of work, quality control, and non-conformance processes.
• Proven leadership, mentoring, communication, and stakeholder-management skills with a proactive continuous-improvement mindset.

Nice to have

• Subsea, oil and gas, pressure testing, or related industry experience.
• NEBOSH, IOSH, or similar safety certification.
