Fund Accountant (Private Equity)

Location: New York, New York, United States

Salary: USD 100,000–125,000 annually, depending on experience, qualifications, licenses, and seniority.

hirify.global is a Latin American investment bank whose Global Alternatives division invests in private equity, private credit, timberland, and other specialized alternative strategies across the U.S. and Latin America.

What you will do

• Support accurate and timely financial statements and footnote disclosures for private equity, private credit, and other investment funds.
• Prepare quarterly NAVs and assist with expense accruals, payment tracking, allocations, treasury, tax, valuation, and finance-related activities.
• Coordinate external audits and communication with administrators, auditors, tax consultants, and other service providers.
• Support new fund creation, investment transaction closings, capital calls, distributions, and investor communications.
• Track portfolio investments, maintain private credit interest schedules, and reconcile interest income and principal payments.
• Assist with regulatory and compliance reporting, investor questions, and ad hoc projects.

Requirements

• Strong academic background.
• 2–3 years of relevant public accounting experience in the asset management industry, preferably including private equity and/or private credit.
• Excellent analytical, communication, problem-solving, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Team-oriented, self-motivated, able to take ownership, and capable of working independently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
