Treasury Operations Accountant (Private Equity)

Location: Irvine, California, US; remote work is available within California.

Salary: USD 65,000–75,000 annually, with overtime eligibility and one discretionary bonus per year.

What you will do

• Assess cash requirements to determine investor funding and distribution timing.
• Reconcile daily cash transactions.
• Process routine and non-routine fund payments, including expenses, taxes, and internal cash transfers.
• Approve wire transfers and internal transfers through treasury management systems and online banking portals.
• Prepare cash management reports.

Requirements

• At least 1–2 years of full-time accounting experience, including a minimum of 2 years of experience as stated in the position requirements.
• Cash management experience.
• Proficiency with treasury management systems or banking portals for processing wires, such as Hazeltree.
• Effective written and verbal communication with external parties.
• Ability to multitask across duties with varying priorities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a business-related field.
• Ability to manage deadlines and high-volume transactions.
• Initiative, inquisitiveness, creativity, self-motivation, organization, attention to detail, and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
