Senior Development Manager (Gamedev)

Location: Frankfurt am Main, Germany; hybrid model with three days per week in the office and up to two remote days, subject to role-specific or business requirements.

What you will do

• Own delivery of assigned sub-team goals and align them with project milestones and priorities.
• Create delivery plans, schedules, and workflows to meet objectives on time and within budget.
• Coordinate dependencies and collaboration across sub teams to support smooth integration.
• Implement and maintain the sub-team operational model and improve processes and workflows.
• Collaborate with the Development Director on resource and talent planning.
• Manage risks, resolve bottlenecks, maintain stakeholder communication, and ensure deliverables meet quality standards.

Requirements

• Experience driving delivery for development sub teams and aligning goals with project-wide milestones.
• Ability to develop detailed plans, schedules, and workflows within budget and timeline constraints.
• Ability to coordinate dependencies and collaboration across disciplines and sub teams.
• Experience implementing operational models and maintaining efficient processes.
• Ability to support resource and talent planning with a Development Director.
• Ability to manage delivery risks, resolve bottlenecks, and maintain transparent stakeholder communication.
• Ability to foster a healthy, motivated team culture aligned with project values and creative vision.
