Global SAP Enterprise Architect

Location: Ettlingen, Germany or Porto, Portugal; flexible work from home after the probationary period and office work.

What you will do

• Define, govern, and continuously evolve the global SAP Enterprise Architecture and hirify.global SAP Template.
• Provide architectural leadership and solution guidance for global SAP rollouts and implementation initiatives.
• Ensure SAP projects align with enterprise architecture standards and the technology roadmap across fit-gap analysis, design, implementation, testing, cutover, and hypercare.
• Support steering committees, project managers, business process owners, implementation partners, and business units during SAP transformation.
• Balance local business requirements with global template standardization and advise on process digitalization.
• Evaluate SAP innovations including AI, SAP Joule, automation, and low-code/no-code solutions, and contribute to BI model development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 10 years of SAP experience in an international, complex environment, including a minimum of 5 years in Enterprise Architecture or Solution Architecture leadership roles.
• Strong understanding of Quote-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Plan-to-Produce, Record-to-Report, Hire-to-Retire, Service-to-Customer, Export and Trade Compliance, and integrated end-to-end solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP modules including FI/CO, SD, CS, MM, PP, and QM, plus integration scenarios.
• Proven experience with global SAP transformations and S/4HANA programs.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, communication, self-motivation, assertiveness, and intercultural competence.
• Experience working in multinational and matrix organizations.
• Excellent English is required for Porto; intermediate German is additionally required for Ettlingen.
