SAC Solution Architect (SAP Analytics Cloud)

Location: Lisbon, Portugal. Remote work from anywhere in Japan is available if the client project allows; working location may be a temporary office in Shinbashi, the client, or the project site. Up to 25 days of work from a preferred global location may be available with client permission.

What you will do

• Define and maintain end-to-end SAP Analytics Cloud solution architecture aligned with business requirements and enterprise IT standards.
• Design SAC planning models covering dimensions, measures, hierarchies, calculations, and data structures.
• Architect scalable planning and forecasting solutions with allocations, simulations, version management, and advanced planning functionality.
• Design integration architecture between SAC, SAP Datasphere, SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW/4HANA, and other enterprise data sources.
• Set architectural guidelines, data modeling standards, and development best practices while providing technical guidance to front-end and back-end teams.
• Review designs, identify technical risks, support testing and deployment planning, and drive performance and scalability improvements.

Requirements

• Extensive experience with SAP Analytics Cloud, including solution architecture, planning model design, and enterprise analytics.
• Proven experience designing and implementing end-to-end SAC Planning solutions in complex SAP environments.
• Strong knowledge of SAC planning models, advanced formulas, data actions, multi-actions, allocations, and version management.
• Solid understanding of SAC architecture, data connectivity, integration patterns, and performance optimization.
• Experience integrating SAC with SAP Datasphere, SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW/4HANA, or other enterprise data platforms.
• Strong understanding of enterprise planning processes, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
• Experience defining technical architecture standards, solution design principles, and data modeling best practices.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical architecture and guide development teams.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills across business and IT teams.
