Senior Product Quality Manager

Location: Hybrid, preferably based in Oulu or Helsinki, Finland; significant travel to Finland and Asia required, with international travel of up to 50%. Other listed location: EMEA.

What you will do

• Support New Product Introduction through FATP development builds, ramp-up, product launch, and mass production.
• Bridge Design, Engineering, Operations, and contract manufacturers by translating technical risks into actionable quality decisions.
• Analyze build failures, yield losses, tolerance stackups, and system-level interactions to drive design and process improvements.
• Lead build readiness reviews covering equipment readiness, process qualification, and post-build quality analysis.
• Define premium cosmetic specifications, golden and limit samples, and alignment criteria for fit, finish, and feel.
• Establish measurement methods, specification limits, process controls, and quality systems that ensure cosmetic, functional, dimensional, and reliability requirements are met.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Product Quality, Supplier Manufacturing, Manufacturing Quality Engineering, or Process Engineering, ideally with strong mechanical process development and design knowledge.
• Experience in FATP system integration environments combining mechanical enclosures and electronics into finished products.
• Experience in quality engineering for high-volume handheld, wearable, or consumer product manufacturing with high cosmetic standards.
• Experience qualifying and auditing processes including PSA/HAF attachment, epoxy dispensing, molding and curing, soldering, hotbar, and laser welding.
• Experience developing IQC, IPQC, and OQC controls, including AOI, cosmetics inspection, sampling plans, qualification criteria, SOP/MSOP, CQA, OBA, and dimensional control.
• Understanding of GRR, CRR, SPC, FA/CA, FMEA, and DOE quality tools.
• Understanding of DFM, GD&T, and Six Sigma methodologies for variability reduction.
• Self-driven problem solver able to thrive in demanding, fast-paced environments.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, including presenting complex concepts through slide decks and written communication.
• Ability to establish reliable data-capture systems that support process improvements and product or component design.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 50%.
